It is tedious, however (placing tiny nylon washers onto tiny screws). There are moments that you definitely need another set of hands, but I assembled the majority of it myself in approximately 6 hours with breaks. The instructions were actually pretty good, but common sense helps. Some screws seemed too short or stripped out, so I’m sure I’ll replace them with longer ones eventually, but it doesn’t affect the structural integrity. Not as sturdy as a wooden or plastic shed, but not nearly as expensive, either. All in all, it looks good \u0026amp; I’m pleased with my purchase. I tried to do this and it was very difficult. I was able to do it, but not recommended. Good value for the money so far and they give you extra screws and nuts and bolts to assemble the shed. A plus, since I dropped more than a couple, that i still cannot find.

Went together easy enough. The assembly instructions are mainly pictures so a couple areas are a little vague but easy enough to figure out. Definitely wear the provided gloves, the edges are sharp. My only gripe would be the protective film on each piece was a bit of an annoyance to get off. It just added more time to the build.

For the price this is an excellent shed.? I built it myself and I found it easy to build just by watching the video on product page.? The holes lined up well enough, u sometimes had to adjust it a bit to ensure it fit but it didn't take much.
My biggest complaint is that the metal is super sharp and if u don't wear the gloves provided it will cut you up.? I nearly slice a chunk of my finger.? So wear gloves.? They should make the metal less sharp

Very easy to put together, hubby was done in just about 4 hours. I was there to assist him with holding panels, helping screw them in, etc. Door panel gave us a run for our money but once we figured out where the braces were over and/under we were good. Each piece is covered in protective plastic which is a pain to remove and we didn't remove all of it. Overall we love it and highly recommend. We added a tin sign and solar decorative light above the door so as to fit in with the rest of our backyard decor. Great buy & perfect for yard tools.

Unlike some reviews stated, this is not very difficult to assemble. All in all, it looks good & I’m pleased with my purchase. If I decide to buy another one, I’ll order another one from this seller

Product was exactly as described, and exactly what i wanted.
the instructions are basic at best.
over all once you figure out how it fits together it is sound.

This is a good shed given it was only $200. The door support beams were a little bent when it was delivered by FedEx. Not enough to send it back and my husband was able to knock out the dents. He put it together by himself. He strung some paracord from the trees above to stabilize the sides. The bolts could of used some washers. It was tricky to get the roof screws in due to the shed being out of square. But with some pushing here and there all the holes lined up. The finished shed looks great! It was a little work but it is a good shed for the money we paid. All in all we would buy it again.

Feel like value is ok.? Install is a little lengthy (about 6-8 hours solo).? Removal of the plastic from the metal pieces and placing the washers on the screws (40+) are a little tedious which could be optimised.? I did discover you can I stall the door on the side (not part of install instructions), just requires drilling 4 holes.

I chose this particular 3x5 shed after looking at many many reviews of many different sheds. None of them seemed adequate in this particular price range. However, I was over all very pleased with this product. It took us a long time to put it together but blessedly all the holes lined up, a couple times it was operator error that had to be corrected. 90% of the instructions were very well detailed diagrams. All parts were appropriately labeled; there was a master parts list as well as parts lists for every building component. The metal is a little flimsy, screws are all kind of short; I wouldn't want this out in a space that would receive high winds, but in my carport for outdoor equipment/ gardening storage, it's perfect.

If you have never assembled an Arrow type metal building be prepared for a challenge.? I have assembled similar types before so was prepared.? I suggest stages.? Check that all parts are there, Assemble the floor frame,? and? Level the ground and/ or build a platform.? The dat before.? Carefully study each step of the instructions the night before. I used 4X4 s and deck board. For a floor.? Then you can assemble .? I also prejoined? the side panels, corner pieces and side top rails? This limited the amount of time I needed a second person to hold the walls upright.? Near the end I assembled the door? The final product is sturdy.? I I stalled a vent , exhaust pipe outlet and exhaust fan to use for a generator shed.? I was concerned that the generator would cause the metal to vibrate and rattle but not at all.? Very pleased.

This is for the 5' x 3' metal shed.? To start off, the carton arrived in just about the condition you'd expect for something that size and 75 lbs.? Roughed up.? But nothing inside was damaged, and everything was there.? All the pieces, all the hardware.? I suppose one person could put this together alone, but I would not have wanted to do so.? Two of us took about 4 hours, although we were not in a rush, and made sure we understood the next step on the instructions before we proceeded.? We made sure we had everything going in the right direction, and sort of eyeballed what would be happening first.? Before each step we took out from the bags the required screws, washers, bolts, and nuts.? Before each step we put the washers on the screws to give us one less tiny thing to drop.? The instructions are just line drawings, and can be misleading if you are not careful.? The biggest confusion we had was not realizing at first that the roof hangs over the sides of the shed.? Once we figured that out we were able to finish just fine.? Also, the braces on the door are NOT bi-directional.? They only fit one way.? We were, as I said, not in not in hurry, so nobody gut any cuts or even scratches? from the many sharp corners or unrolled edges of the sheet steel.? Seemed pretty flimsy going up, just a step past heavy-duty aluminum foil, but once it was all done it is fairly rigid.? I mean, it is a $200 shed, and if you've priced them out you know that is cheap.? I only wanted this to keep tools and such in one location and out of the weather.? So, I did not bother to remove the plastic film from the pieces nor even the stickers used to identify the parts.? I think if we'd removed the film it would have taken close to an hour to get it all off without bending anything.? Not worth my time to do so.? Overall, I am pleased with the quality and the ease of construction.? Final word is, make sure you fully understand each step of the instructions and you won't have to worry about taking anything apart and doing it over.

Based on the reviews online I anticipated needing a lot of time to assemble this unit but based on the cost, I decided it was worth the risk and I'm glad I did!
The best advice I can tell you is TAKE YOUR TIME when assembling this unit!? If you rush and don't make sure you have the right part facing the right way, you will get frustrated and will end up drilling holes that "don't line up."? Once I accepted the fact that I was paying for the lower cost with "sweat equity" I got very "Zen" and things just clicked.? Several times I almost put parts facing the wrong way, upside-down, etc. but again, taking time saved the day.? All of the holes lined up and once complete, the shed looks and works great!
I did "modify" the parts provided by buying additional washers for the super-tiny "nuts and bolts" because they look like they will almost pull through the holes of the panels they are holding together if tightened too much.? With these additional washers in the mix, the resulting shed is super-sturdy.
It looks clean and I like that the door is hinged instead of the sliding door that some sheds use that always binds up and bends after a while. It isn't as nice as one of the plastic sheds from home depot, but it also didn't cost $600.? The metal is important for me as I live in Arizona and the plastic versions will only last a year or so in our extreme heat.? I now have a good storage space for my generator, lawn mower and assorted garden tools so they won't be as exposed to the sun and the teaspoon of rain we get each year..

Nice little shed but definitely a two-man job the only other real issue I had was with the roof and the way it didn't quite seal it needs to be glued or sealed in some way otherwise it will leak. If it overlapped a little bit more this would not be an issue.

I was able to put most of this together on my own and moved it to its location. I bought 15 12x12 papers for the "ground" of the shed and propped one side up so the door could swing better.
I feel every use of screw should've had a bolt on the other end to ensure this is built well but the instructions states to overlap large screw hole with small which secures the screw without bolts slightly better than expected.? The screw and bolt areas, seem like a larger combo would also make this more secure.
Lastly, the roof assembly did not match up with the holes even when I flipped parts around to try anebmarch the holes.? I also did NoT use the final plastic corners as I thought it would look tacky given they're white and the siding is a taupe/ purple? color with black accents.

This was a perfect little shed.
I was debating between this and a much more expensive resin one.? I decided the difference of about $500 wasn't worth it.? I made the right choice.
I read many reviews and the questions I had after reading them were answered.
1.? The color was a nice tan/gray color.? Not the chocolate darker brown it appeared in some pictures.
2.? Assembly was not super easy, but not horrible either.? You absolutely need 2 people unless you are Stretch Armstrong.? Nimble fingers for small screws and an electric screwdriver are helpful.
3.? It took longer to peel the plastic off the pieces than it did to actually assemble it.? It was shrink wrap meets packing tape.? I prepped the shed 1 day, assembled the next.? I highly recommend this.? Your fingers will be hurting from peeling.
3.? After assembly, there were a few gaps, so I used Great Stuff, aluminum tape, and 2 stick on door sweeps. (For the hinge side of the door.? Want to keep the bees out.? Hopefully this works.
4.? All but the LAST hole lined up.
5.? I purchased tgin threaded 1 foot rods @lowes and bent them into U shaped to sort of anchor them to the ground.? But a pea gravel base thick enough to lay on top of the base frame will work.
6.? It survived some outer rain bans of Henri, but we didn't get the strong winds.? The rocks on the floor were wet, but about 3" of rain in like 2 hours may be the reason.? It was raining buckets for about 45 min.? The shelves in the pic show no evidence of being wet.
7.? I noticed a spot of rust starting where the side walls meet the roof.? That is a little concerning since it hasn't been up for a month.

Take your time putting it together. Lay out all the pieces. Review the instructions. It all went together perfectly for me and I actually had fun building it. It certainly isn't easy and it helps lots to have a helper for several of the steps. Remove the plastic coating carefully before assembly. The holes all do line up correctly if you do it right. Other commenters saying they had to drill some of their own holes to make it work were just doing it incorrectly.

Shed is Hard to put together.? I have put many sheds together.? This one is spot on however, every single screw hole is perfectly aligned.? Very unusual, normally you have to drill 5 to 10 new holes as they just don't match up.? Screws and bolts are just too small.? They do this so no one gets a poke from a screw or bolt when entering the shed after installation which would result in? buffoons' having a law suit. Engineering is spot on, but still very difficult to install,? Takes 2 people, and I cant stress enough to watch the videos several times b-4 assembly.? When assembled is a sturdy good looking shed.? Pour a slab to mount it on and use 4 tap cons and washers to affix to pad.? Protective plastic covering is EXTREMELY difficult, I took a razor knife and ran it down the edges of the panels to be able to remove the plastic,? Good Luck,,,,, Buy it, it is? Worth The Work! It is a lot of Work however!!!!

Great for the price. Install on a level surface for best results with pre-drilled hole alignment. Assemble in conditions of low wind speed.

Some of the assembly instructions could have been clearer but the shed went together very well and was very solid. The product was shipped before the original estimate and was well packaged. This was a far superior product to the plastic competitors.

I got this on a deal for $165 plus $60 s/h.? Recommend watching the install video alone with the instructions.? I put this together by myself.? Would recommend you have a helper when putting up the walls.
5x3 is not too big but perfect for me to use as a pool shed.

I think the value for your money is very good.? It is sturdy and once I was done with the construction I am very pleased.? It was much more work that anticipated BUT I am 75 years old living in Arizona SO the age and the heat may have contributed

Some of the assembly instructions could have been clearer but the shed went together very well and was very solid. The product was shipped before the original estimate and was well packaged. This was a far superior product to the plastic competitors.
