However, the very first night we used it, for about an hour, without the heater on, it started to make a clicking noise, which got louder and louder. I contacted the company, sent a video, and a replacement was sent promptly! What more can you ask for! I would buy from them again in a heartbeat!\n\nIf your looking for an inexpensive fireplace to bring ambiance to a room, buy this one! Fortunately, I was able to fix this by relocating the cord to the rear. Had I not had extra depth space, this would have been a major issue.\n\nThe cover that slides over the mounting screws does not seem to fit correctly on a flat surface. The sides are deeper than the front so you have to bend it to make it work. When installing on a painted surface, this can (and did) result in scratching of the paint.\n\nBesides these issues, once installed, the heater looks and runs great. I modified it by painting most of it black, cut the top down to a lower level, and covered it with a black aluminum perforated metal box cover. I also painted out some of the blue leds so it looks more like a gas flame when set to both colors. I also used scissors to cut the mylar foil into a more random pattern. It is much more realistic now. Bottom line, I'm very happy with it now.
